^ no worries! I had skimmed through the article really quickly at first and made an incorrect assumption. Once I went back and read it more thoroughly I realized that it did actually make sense.

Ha, very true. I occasionally get instances where people totally miss the sarcastic elements of my weaker attempts at humour. But it isn't a UK/US thing, imo - there's folks on both side of the pond who do or don't see it, even when I think I'm being too obvious.

I love the rhyming slang in this article, by the way. And no, that bit isn't meant to be sarcastic.
