Why is it that people feel the need to edit the price out of their ad once the item has sold? I see so many ads with nothing changed except SOLD in place of the price.
I often use the classifieds to research the current market price of used gear, and this ruins it.
Why can't one just add the SOLD to the end or beginning of the ad?

I also like to use the classifieds to gauge used gear prices.
I just sold an amp and left the sale price in for future reference when I closed the thread.

i don't think it would be necessary, either. i think a simple request post stickied in the forums would do the trick for most cases.

Maybe you could use your magic to move this sucker over there and sticky it at the top of them? I don't really know how that works.

Prices Edited Out Of Classified Ads: Not Cool | Oh ok, that makes more sense. I don't think I can edit the subject line; in retrospect, I didn't realize that more than several people would agree with me.

I passed over this thread because the subject line didn't "hit" me.

i'll pass this idea over to the other admins and classifieds mods and get their opinions. if it seems to fly, i'll post something to the effect as a stickied suggestion in each of the forums.
