Question Is smoking in the shower peculiar?

Do you think that the smoking of cigarettes while showering is peculiar ? I do not think so. I have done this countless times where smoking was permitted indoors.

Not sure I've ever met anyone that did that before. I have known a couple of people I've gone to college with over the years that would study in the shower. They would make an extra copy of their notes and stick them to the damp shower wall. I came up with using the plastic sheet protectors and doing the same thing and could still use the notes afterwards.

Smoking in the shower is a new one on me though. The way things are going that may be the only place you CAN smoke one day. Lol

Well I'd say it's indicative of a full-on nicotine addiction. I may be wrong, but I guess you smoke around 2 packs a day maybe?

reminds of this time when my dad and I were doing a bathroom remodel and when we tore out the shower stall the back corner was stacked up with ancient cigarette butts about 4 feet tall. Apparently they liked smoking in the shower too....

Never tried it myself though.

I've done the shower beer many times before, but never a shower cig.

Nothing refreshing like a cold beer in a warm shower.

Are you guys talking about while you are taking a shower, or in the room where the shower is located? All I concern myself with while taking a shower is getting clean and getting out to get dressed.

Smoking in this day and age is, in itself, somewhat peculiar.

Does it allow one to come out of the shower already sporting a cigarette scent?

It seems to me the challenge would be keeping the cigarette dry, but where there's a will, there's a way.

You can do almost anything in the shower. Check it out.

I've done it to see it could be done...it could, but I found it kind of silly. I'm more apt to smoke while riding a bicycle or rock climbing.

I remember reading that John Mellencamp smoked in the shower. He was a chain smoker, and if he was awake, he was smoking.

I think he has cut back a bit after having a heart attack in 1994.

I used to do it.

I thank god for the gift of being cigarette free for over 2 decades now.

You should quit smoking. Trust me with this cliche, "If I can do it, anybody can." Smoking is no good for you, just in case ya didn't know.

I used to officiate mountain bike races, and there always a few racers who would cross the finish line, get off the bike, and light up a cigarette. Some of them were in fantastic shape, and all were very competitive.
