Time to get my new skis mounted up. I've been waiting since the end of last season to try them. They're saying snow up in the mountains tonight here in NH. Hopefully I'll be on the slopes before Thanksgiving.

Mmmmm... snow good!

I took this picture last sunday on a trip I organized with my friends.

In total 15 people went with us up a mountain called Sydsta-Sula (1092m). We are getting closer to the top on this pic at around 1040 meters:

You sir, live in a different world than I do.

I went to an outdoor night concert over the weekend and was dissapointed that I had to wear a sweatshirt.

It doesn't usually get cold/snow in Calgary until at least December, so you should be fine.

ah yes, but I grew up in the Crowsnest Pass so I am aware of those fun out of the blue let's have a couple feet of snow for a few days and then be back to 15-17 degree weather

last year we hit it perfect and the drive from Edmonton to Calgary to Lethbridge was funnnnnn, like this:

mind you, it was April.....

Sounds about right

Last winter was really warm though. We only had a couple of really cold days (-47), but that was about it. It barely even snowed.

Has not snowed here yet. Which is really weird. Usually we get snow late sep early oct, but nothing yet. It will probably hit with a vengeance soon though.

Well, I love snow, BUT that means I need new tires, my car does not like snow (El Camino) and bring on dry skin. Otherwise I love it.

Nothing better than having a snow day your senior year of college, stealing trays from the cafeteria to go sledding down the steepest hill on campus.
