Who else is up to their kneecaps in snow?
State of emergency here, about 16 - 20" supposed to get 8 more inches overnight.

Here's a few pictures from hours ago.

I'll play. Not that deep so far, but enough to have my kids running around like meth fueled hyenas that want to go sledding.

Oh yeah, above the kneecaps tonight -- where it hasn't drifted. Been busy all day keeping the snow pack from settling on the greenhouses (which would cause them to collapse). My sweetie's been plowing up in Burlington since about 8 this morning.

Here's a couple of pictures from this morning. Deep.

There is a 7-8 inch step below the door, that I cleared off yesterday. I'm going out later to take some more pics.

You guys are starting to become my #1 source for storm forecasts. This one looks like it will hit Québec on the 26th.

Last time you got 7-8 inches, we received 13

We have at least 24", so get ready for a metre or so, L-A.

Hopefully the ratio is not linear.

It's been good surfing weather this weekend. Air temp in the seventies.

Thanks for the update, Maki, but I'd MUCH rather be shoveling snow on 25 degree weather than surfing, Duh.

Nothing like shoveling through 15 feet of 3 foot deep hardpacked snow to get your car out to the street.

25" here. I spent two hours digging out last night digging through about 10" of it. But the winds were so strong overnight that all the places I shoveled got filled in and I had to shovel out the full 25" today. And that included the snow plows plowing us in three times after I finished.

I feel every bit of my age tonight.
