So... Drinkware?

Sign in to disble this ad
We've got plenty of threads about what people are drinking, but I wonder if anyone is interested in discussing what they drink from?

I'm inspired to post this by these cool shot glasses I found that I now use

I went to the store for some normal drinking glasses. I found some that didn't have seams or flaws, so I bought them.

I went back to that store and they had tumblers and shots to match, so I got those as well. They're a little odd in that they're two ounces, so bigger than a single but not quite a double (or, if you're in Europe, just larger than a single.) The matching tumblers are a little small, only about the size of and Old Fashioned. They're made by Bormioli Rocco, in case anyone is curious. Here's hoping this thread goes well

I have a frosted stein. Used to have a Harley Davidson logo on it... but it's older so it wore off.

Never really had a chance to get some good drinking equipment, as I rarely drink at home, and my mates dad doesn't really like having all our junk sitting around in his holiday apartment.

There is a certain romanticism to drinking cheap vodka out of eggcups though.

So far all the responses have in this thread have had some level of awesome, but this made me lol. Why egg cups? Just because of the size?

They are sort of like shot glasses if you put your mind to it.

Also, for some reason the standard set of kitchenware in the apartment complex incuded about 10 egg cups? I don't know who would want 10 hardboiled eggs at a time, but they always came in handy

My friend has this shot glass that he got from his dad, it's kind of like these:

Basically, they can spin and you put whatever alcohol you want in it, and if it falls out, then that's as much as you need in there. Apparently it's the perfect measurement for a shot. And that's the weird kind of **** his dad owns.

Other than that, it's whatever the give me at the bar.

Not even something like this? Cause if this wasn't unreasonably expensive, I'd totally drink out of this at work...

I have a nice selection of highball, lowball / rock glasses (round & square), and pilsner glasses. The rest are jelly-jar / juice glasses and barrel glasses. I have too damn many, as the kids will grab anything clean for a drink, and I get to wash 'em.

I end up taking pint glasses home from my local pub. I just hate turning in without a nightcap

I save the plastic cups from all the sporting events I go to. If my nephew is with me, I'll send him around the section we are sitting in after the game to grab a few more.
