Surfed in the morning and played a round of golf in the late morning/afternoon. BBQ's steaks at sunset in my backyard.

We dodged the big snowy bullet here in Madison. We only got 1/2" ice coating, like a big ass glazed doughnut

I's rained here for the last month at least, the ground is a sodden carpet of mud so I can't get out biking and it's grey and wet most of the time. It's a ****er of the highest order and no error, go away rain come back some other day

It rained heavily for 24 hours right after our 3 feet of snow finished melting, flooding the river a bit. Most of what fell on the roads froze a few hours ago.

Absolutely beautiful chamber of commerce weather. Mid 70's bright, clear...same thing today so far.

Walked out the door this morning to go to work, and it was in the upper 60's, already pushing 70 and a nice breeze with sun. Made me want to turn right back around, take off this tie and call in sick.

Edit: Aaaaand, I just realized this thread was about yesterday's weather, not today's. It was indeed very nice here yesterday... nevermind me. I have yet to have my second cup of coffee and fully wake up. Carry on, carry on....

We got about the same amount of snow as in the OP, but as far as I know, the freezing rain didn't make it quite this far north.

It was rough here. There were clouds and I don't think the temp. got much over 70.

Looks like an average day in the heart of the Canadian praeries. Those are definitely good days to relax at home.

Weather here was just nippy, but blindingly sunny yesterday.

Yesterday? Hell, it JUST stopped snowing (since yesterday afternoon straight)!!!

I had snow drifts behind my truck in the driveway that were OVER my tailgate...and that's not including what the snowplow dumped at the end of my driveway.

I started shoveling and snowblowing at 5:30 this AM and I just finished (1:45 PM).

I HATE winter.

It got up to 22 today, but then factoring in the wind, it was below zero.

Can someone describe this beautiful, sunny day thing to me? I've heard of it before. Must be nice.

Yep, I live in the area as you, well. a little east. We got a solid ten inches yesterday in Oakland county. In a way I'm glad we missed the temperature line. About fifty miles south of me they got Ice as did a lot of NW Ohio. Snow, is no big deal for me, 4 wheel drive, snowblower, deal with it. Ice, OTOH.

Of course being in MI it was fifty five on Friday, now we're looking at single digits tonight.
