I've been sick lately, and being sick and going to work, and then going to rehearsals=one very grumpy bass player. So this chick friend of mine invites me out to dinner and we go to a new sushi place thats opened up.
Sushi? I'm white. I eat cheese burgers! Just kidding. I just don't like the idea of sushi (raw food) and have had it once or twice before. Seeing as how she's pretty, and she was buying, I said sure.
The closest I get to the orient is google image search (safe search off ) and Chinese food. And the asian kids at school, but they only hang out together.
So I'm browsing through the menu, and some of this stuff has funny names. The Rock and roll. The Godzilla Roll. Etc etc. Corny, yeah, but it cheered me up. What perplexed me, was in the back in the entrees, I saw a dish.
A Maki Super Star. It was a sushi variety dish that happened to have a lot of crab in it.
Fitting?
That is all.

All these different images and phrases came to my mind and got all jumbled up.
And now I've decided I'm not even going to Go There. There's just too much to be said.

| | The older I get, the better I was. | | Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Pasadena, CA | | | It wasn't until I started dating my wife (about 7 years ago) that I could even tolerate sushi - in fact, I really couldn't stand even cooked fish unless it was beer-battered. Now, I like sushi more than she does.
Not all sushi is raw. Shrimp tempura roll or California roll are easy choices for those just dipping their toes in the pool. |

The old sour milk, or the sweat trapped within the wrinkles?
