So last night, me and my friend were messing around with a shopping cart he had in his garage, when he pushed me down the street, and to avoid hitting the curb, I jumped out.
My face broke my fall.
I couldn't remember what happened, I couldn't remember that my birthday was on Sunday, or that I went to Florida for spring break. I couldn't believe the date when I saw it on my phone. Everything felt like a dream.
I busted my lip, chipped my front tooth, and I don't have any feeling in the tip of my left middle finger.
Shows how some juvenile fun can take a pretty bad turn...

I got good news for you! I study neuropsychology and I have a course this semester on Human Memory and I can safely say that head trauma can cause amnesia. The good news is that your memories should come back to you this time. It is a normal situation for this kind of accident, don't panic, your memories should come back by themselves and you shouldn't be forgetting any other memories.

You went to the doctor, that's the important thing. In the coming weeks, rest and take care of yourself. If you notice any other symptoms (sleep disturbance, headaches, changes in mood, dizziness, problems in memory, problems in balance, problems with speech, etc.), go back to the doctor.
And knock off the stupid stuff! |
