Sign in to disble this ad
That basically was either banned or asked for their account to be shut down due to reselling things on here for profit.
I think they had my email from a previous transaction, can a non registered user still find out your email address?
Just curious. Thanks.
(and yes if you read this do not contact me again regarding sales in the forums)
I think this should have went into forum usage. Oops.

No I mean buying good deals on here and reselling on here for profit within 1 week.
Kinda "slimy" as one fellow TB'er pointed out via PM earlier. |

I am curious why there wasn't much negative feedback when checking the profile.
Interesting.
I would call on all TB'ers to leave actual feedback for transactions, even neutral, if the seller didn't fully meet requirements, and negative if they refused. It's the only way to keep the sales forums honest and keep this crap from happening again.
I would hope I have "earned" my feedback for being an honest seller, and rely on the feedback to prove the same for other TB'ers. You know if someone retaliates for no good reason with a negative feedback "just because" can't you report it to a mod?

If I find a 75 Jazz bass at a yard sale for 100.00 bucks and resell it on here for 750.00 I wouldn't feel so bad. I got a good deal, and you would get a heck of a deal.
This guy was buying basses on here for the purpose of reselling them within a week of the sale.
I am passing on a good deal for the Ibanez hoping someome will play and I hope it goes into useful hands. Not someone looking to get rich off of my generosity. Like I said, making money is not the issue, taking away a good deal from a fellow TB'er to resell it on the SAME FORUM a week later for more money is a dirty practice.
Asking somoene to ship overnight and you will reimburse fees and never pay. Returning a bass to someone and advising you'd pay return shipping and never doing it. Stating you can't complete a trade due a bass having an unforseen "issue" but putting it up for sale as "perfect' the very next day.
I call that slimy and some examples of what this guy did.
Get my point?

The shipping thing is a ripoff of course.

If I see you do that or many of the other TB'ers on here see it you won't sell much on here.
I have said if I find a good deal at a pawn shop and sell it on here for profit I see nothing wrong with that because if I did do that it would be below current market value. |

im not taking sides or bashing u or w/e im just pointing out that some people dont have common decency or loyalty and therefore go after the almighty dollar |

I was close to typing the same thing, but the genius that is Blisshead has managed to word my point more concisely than my attempt at "plus one"ing the point he made, which was in fact my point, but derived independently of eachother. The only thing I can add is that I view exclamation points in an ad as a negative. The more you have, the more crap I think you might be full of. We should ban people for that.

If someone got banned, I'm sure it was for not following through on shipping, not for "reselling things on here for profit." That's just plain dumb. |
