So i got walked out on, on a date...

So, i took my girlfriend out on a date because she is leaving for school soon and i thought it would be nice. We had been arguing a lot lately, and i had asked her if she still wanted me to help her move in. She got upset because apparently im supposed to be a mind reader. So she got up and walked out while we were still waiting for the food. She had my wallet with her, so i had to run out and get it. I am pretty upset at her for pulling a stunt like that, i dont think we will be dating for much longer. Anyone else have this happen?

Nope. Never happened to me.

I'm pretty sure that would be the end. (Make sure you end it before you have to help her move )

Cut your losses and dump her. It seems like her way of saying I want to break up and be free when I go to school. Women don't just do things, they almost always have a plan.

She's probably being a b*tch about it so that'll you'll break up with her, instead of the other way around. This way you come out looking like the bad guy and she claws her way to the moral high ground.

Or maybe I'm just cynical.

Don't be too hasty with all this breaking up stuff until you get your grudge-****.

Few things in this world are as rewarding as a good grudge-****.

Yes it's happend to me with more than one girl. Women seem to love the high drama thing when it comes to how they treat men that they happen to be mad at. I have news for you, some married women pull this sort of stuff on their husbands. My wife did this sort of stunt early in our marriage in a public setting and instead of my running after her and pleading with her I paid my bill and waved at her as I drove off to go home. She ended up taking a bus and walking a good ways to get back to our apartment. It had also started raining before she got home. Well ,we are still married; for almost 25 years, and she's never pulled that sort of stunt on me again. We still have our moments, but we love and respect each other and give each other the space to simmer down and work out our problems together while also respecting each others differences. It takes a lot of work but it's the only way I can think of how to keep a marriage alive.

I often have to remind my wife that mind reading was my worst subject in High School.

If my girl, whom I knew liked me, was about to change a major part of her life and head off to school somewhere that probably didn't include me, and I asked her if she wanted help moving...yeah, I'd expect her to leave the joint as well.

Sorry, I'm just saying.

And the worst part is you probably were just trying to be nice about her having to move. . .

Ah women. Gotta love 'em!

And yeah I've been walked out on once or twice. It happens.
