So I had Dimple Scotch for the first time

A friend of mine gave me a bottle of Dimple Scotch, and man, was that delicious!

Unlike a lot of whiskies I've tried, this one doesn't overpower you with an alcoholy flavor that prevents you from actually tasting it. Well I tasted it. And holy crap! I got chills up my spine!

I usually drink bourbon or Irish whiskey, but I've been drinking scotch lately (since me and my house mates liberated a few cases last weekend)

For those who don't know, Dimple is a type of blended Scotch. I'm not really sure what that means (a blend of different barrels?)

I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some other similar things in the wonderful world of Scotch.

Blended means blended with other whiskeys/scotches. Sometimes a cost cutting measure, sometimes what they are going for for flavor.

Go try some Single Malts off the River Spey. Just do a google search for River Spey Scotch (es).

That are "usually" any "Glen" will do.

Glenmorangie
Glenlivet
Glenfiddich
Cigar Malt (AWESOME!!!!)

Glenmorangie tastes like you have a mouth full of dirt, peatmoss and grain alchohol Sorry, just my opinion

I have two bottles of it in my shop that a customer brought. Saving it for a special occasion.........like when someone else wants to drink it

Hey Man
Far from being a connoisseur (very far), I tend to like single malts rather than blends. My favorites are from Ledaig and Bunnahabhain.
