so i was in the mcdonalds drive thru this morning..

Sign in to disble this ad
the guy in front of me had a brand new vw passatt ..

pulling away from the 1st window ... didn't see where his drivers side mirror was in relation to the big yellow post.

woops.

his meal just turned from $5 to a couple hundred.

haha.

I did that once. I was parked next to a telephone pole and I guess I wasn't paying attention while backing up and hit the mirror. But I have breakaway mirrors so I only scuffed and cracked the casing.

I've also scraped mirrors trying to pull really close to an ATM.

Meh, you guys are too worried about your cars*. Having spent time in London and Paris, a mint condition car says "I don't drive and or park my car in this city".







*I know, I used to be like you when I was in Australia. Now however, its touch parking all the way!

We had two VW's and they both had an astonishing number of mechanical and electrical defects (one of which, the temp gauge light not working, led to the engine overheating). They are cute cars but non-functional.

Yeah, I have a Jetta and they should stop worrying about Hassleling the Hoff and make my car, uh, go, uh good.
