HL is awesome. Best two games ever made. Hands down. Especially #2.

Not quite 2 years, was nearer the end of 2007 it came out, but still a year and a bit ago anyway.

Looking forward to it coming out either way tho

And they are indeed awesome games, but HL1 IMO trumps HL2. While it doesnt have the graphics, it is a more in depth and fun game

I started playing Half Life 2 as it was in The Orange Box, but got pulled away from it by GOW2 & Fallout3. Will have to get back to it soon as it is a compelling story.

I'm in Episode 1 right now. It's not as interesting as HL2, so it's slow going. I play CS a lot though.

Episode 2 was a LOT more entertaining than Episode 1, IMO. I've been waiting for Episode 3 for what feels like forever. There has been almost no news about Ep 3.

OMG I love HL! I borrowed the orange box from a friend several months ago and went through HL2,Ep1 & 2 in like a few days. Loved every second of it so I played through a second time.

They did such a great job with the story I got really attached to the characters. I was on thr verge of literally crying at the end of ep.2 when (WARNING: SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT BEAT IT YET!)

... when Eli, Alyx's dad died. While the credits scrolled I just dropped my controler and stared at the screen, mouth open with tears in my eyes asking 'why?'
It was really sad. Sorry if I'm weird. lol

I cannot wait for ep. 3. I heard it may not even come out till 2010.

I may kill myself. lol
