So, I'm still a little hungover...

from Sat night. It's Tuesday now.

I don't drink a lot, maybe 2-6 beers a week, tops. I don't get drunk a lot...maybe once a year.

But on Saturday, for no good reason, I got completely annihilated at a party my buddy threw (also for no good reason). My wife tells me that the number of shots I did was in the double digits, and I know I had around 10 beers on top of that. Granted, I weigh 250 and was snacking throughout the night, but that's a lotta booze.

Fortunately, I puked my brains out (what little I had left), so I didn't suffer any serious alcohol poisoning.

But I'm still a little hungover. I've been drinking a ton of water, eating pretty light, and getting decent sleep. I still feel about 75% though.

CLIFF NOTES: I'm an idiot. I'm not going to drink straight whiskey again for a LOOOONG time. Kids...don't do what I do. I'm definitely a little embarrassed at being a 30yr old man and having completely incapacitated myself.

I wanna go back to bed now

Tough break. I couldnt imagine a hangover lasting more than a day. I thought it was bad when you still feel hungover at 9pm the next day. Today is my 21st birthday, lets hope i dont experience what you've got.....

Congratulations.

On the hangover thing, yeah if you're not used to it you can get pretty bad hangovers. worst one i had was when i drank a pint or jonny walker black and a 12 of becks and a bunch of keg beer, fell down the stairs cracked my head open and had to go to the hospital where they wouldn't let me sleep. 4 day hang over blood alc was .34, doctor was amazed i was awake at all.

One of my old bosses a bodybuilder/health nut got a two day hangover from nightquil

best ways to cope with a hangover.
1. don't smoke
2. greasy fatty starchy food
3. tums
4. water, water, more water
5. cold showers
6. exercise, sweat that crap out
7. don't lay in bed all day get up get moving

I think I'm finally over it. I'm fortunate in that I never got a headache...probably because I was drinking tons of water the rest of the weekend. The only thing now is that my upper chest/neck area is sore, probably from the royal pukefest I had Sat night/Sun morning.

I rarely get a sore head/joints etc from a hangover, but its my stomach - a constant state of bloatedness and loss of appetite.

I can attest to some party antics on Saturday. My work flew me down from Glasgow (business class!) to London for the company Ball in Alaxandra Palace. There were roughly 9-10k people there. Unlimited, free drinks. Insane! We arrived about 10pm on Saturday, and they bused back to the airport at 5am Sunday, of which had an open bar and we partied on.
Sunday I had the giggles due to no sleep. I got lucky and the hangover never really hit me, for a change.

I drink excessively every weekend. The past weekend I think I drank.....a 15 pack of regular beer, estimate of 7 pitchers at bars to myself (about 3-4 per night), a quart of dark rum, three 40oz of 10% beer, a 40oz of 6% beer, half a pint of gin straight, half a pint of vodka straight. And that's just a regular weekend for me. I don't get hungover at all from it, but I do get terrible cramps/charlie horses in my calves in the mornings.

Years of evolution, I'm from Prince Edward Island. Last new years my drummer, who is 6'2 and 110lbs, drank a 60oz of rum, pint of moonshine, and a 12 pack of beer. He was walking downtown smoking a cigar at 9am the next morning sipping another beer.
