Seriously, I've had both; I didn't like the PA, still wearing the ap. after 10 years.
If you're dating someone with a tongue stud, there can, at times be some annoying clicking, which is a bit of a mood killer.

I remember watching a tattoo and piercing video with a group of friends some years back. When the females were getting "theirs" pierced, both the guys and girls watched with interest and intrigue.
But when they showed a male getting a PA, there was not one male in the room averting his eyes, NOT clutching his own or squirming in his chair or shrieking 
In contrast, the girls seemed unaffected
Thought I'd share that. Back to Prince 2 Practitioners study
