Go used! It works for Jim Furyk: Used putter won Jim Furyk millions.

Great story. Jim is a good guy, and I could totally see him doing this.

Shh. If you take away my 'blame the clubs' excuse, you leave me cold and alone with the sad fact that I have a horrible golf game.

I got my complete set with bag for $30 from the pawn shop. You'd be surprised at how good they are for that price.

Well, you also have to take the Wild Eagle factor into account.

I didn't know that SX made golf clubs!

It leaves me with only one question ... "Which putter is best for metal?"

I bought a set of used Callaways and got the whole set with new grips for under $150. Nothing wrong with used gear.

"Which metal is best for putters?"

I've always liked aluminum.

They're Knight (Orlimar) so close enough I think! For 30 bucks though I got graphite shaft drivers, a nice feeling putter and cavity back irons. As little as I play and as much of a noob I am they will work just fine!

I'm still using my dad's set he got in the 80's. I play about the same as my friends so I've never bothered dropping $500+ on new clubs like they all have.

I got a $200 beginner's set that's head and shoulders above the fifteen year old clubs I had borrowed from a friend. However, I STILL can't get used to the graphite shaft on the driver.
