because she needs to find herself. We have (had) been together since we were both 18, and we were married at 21 (I'm curently 24. She tells me that she needs to find herself, because she doesn't know who she is, and cannot do that while maintaining our marriage.
I'm moving in with a friend of mine this week, and am going to try to make things work. I don't want this at all, but she is saying that there is nothing I can do or could have done to prevent this situation.
****.

Also, "finding herself" sounds like a bigger pile of poo than you can find walking behind a herd of elephants. I don't mean to pry into your personal life, but I'd definitely try and ask her what her reasons for leaving actually are. If that really is her reason, then she seems like one prone to illogical (and detrimental) flights of fancy, at least from an outsiders perspective, and you might be better off with somebody a bit more stable.

She has had a really ****** upbringing, and her parents are continually ******. We got together at a young age, and I think she just needs space to work her **** out.
That being said, it really really sucks.
Thanks Greg. I'm really hoping that some time apart can fix things, but obviously it's not a fool proof plan.

I don't want to come off the wrong way. But I've got a coworker that had the same surgery, and now is getting ansy to leave her husband. Keep yourself busy. It helps.

Not because of the "look how hot I am" factor but more so because of the "my whole life has changed" factor. Apparently it's VERY common among weight loss surgery patients to get divorced.

| | | | To be truthful, there isn't whole lot of people who got married such a young age nowadays will have a forever lasting relationship. More than likely she doesn't want to settle at such a young age, and want to be more "independent."

I'm kind of just playing it by ear. I'm HOPING that a separation will work things out, and I know divorce is not really a quick process, so all I can do is hope.
