Saturday night I played a show where I played a little too hard. By the end of the set, I had huge blisters on both of my plucking hands.
The next day, I tried to pick/thumb my way through as much of my second show as I could, but by the end of it, I was fingerplucking through the pain. After that set, the blisters turned a grayish color.
Now, they are both completely brown. They feel like a callous. I'm imagining it's a bunch of dried blood under the skin for some reason. Can anyone tell me what I should do and/or what it is and if it's bad?
Here's a pic for proof.
Lovely shot of the blisters, and my dorm floor.

lowsound | They aren't swollen at all. They're sitting evenly with the rest of the skin.

2) Do a search for my Talkbass post "How to tape your fingers".
You're welcome.
