So when do you get your W2?

I'm new to a lot of things, including the W2 form. A couple of my friends got their last week or the week before.

When does an employer (or in this case) a former employer, have to send it to or do I have to call them up? Luckily I'll be getting more than a bit back since I'm a student and an independent and they were taking out 2-3 hundred dollars every paycheck in taxes.

Yup, your employer has til the end of the month. Im not sure if they have to send it out by then, or ensure you have it by then.

I just filed my state last night online, it took all of 10 minutes and it'll be deposited into my account in about a week, so said the computer.
