So, where do you do your best thinking?

I do my best thinking in the shower. I'm alone for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on if I have to shave or not, and when it comes to cleaning myself, I'm basically on autopilot. I'll think about a million things, or one thing only. I've reached a lot of important conclusions in there.

Sitting on my roof on summer nights is great. I live outside city limits, so the stars are nice and it's QUIET!!!! during the oregon off seasons, (every month except July and august) I sit in my room with incense burning and some music playing.

The bathroom. It is honestly the only place I don't get bothered by anyone, or my phone ringing. I pretty much sit there until my legs fall asleep and then it's time to go.

I usually have music on in the shower, and am singing away or rocking out (as much as permitted by the shower, that is).

I'd say the toilet is one of my number one places to get some thinking done. Generally too short of a time to justify reading, but long enough to ponder some deep thoughts.

I enjoy people watching, and generally do a lot of heavy thinking/observing in public places. Having a 1hr commute through public transit each way facilitates this.

I usually do my best thinking while I'm driving, particularly out in the less busy areas of Cedar Falls. There are some relaxing roads around here.
