Rather unfairly, I kind of assume it was the white trash girl at the last place I used it. WHoever it was, I hope they get caught.
Thankfully, USAA (my awesome bank) noticed it and shut it down right quick. Apparently they realized I did not fly across country to blow $200 at a 7-11. I love USAA. |

I told them where it was used and described the waiter (are waiters the only ones doing this??), but they won't talk about their investigations so they removed the extra charges and that's the last I ever heard of it.
It is nice when card companies keep an eye out for odd expenditures, otherwise consumers could be really screwed. I wonder if they do it to be nice to their users or if there are laws that compel them?

Used my CC to buy 1 cd at a music store. Bill came in and I saw $400 in charges! Immediately called my CC company and filed a dispute. I was ready to drive back to Atlantic City and beat someone's arse! |

I remember reading some article that had like 15-20 pics of them in various configurations, and some with cameras so they can watch you enter the pin number as well. Insane.
There are a few here, but I'm going to try to find the other article. Here it is. Some real crazy setups on some of these.

Luckily banks get suspicious when a bunch of charges get run up rather quickly, and they freeze the card, and refund the charges.
