Only hipsters would have found the picture of a trap in the first place...

Not much to it really...

This "hipster trap"—baited with Pabst Blue Ribbon, American Spirits, a bike chain and neon-pink Wayfarers—was photographed by Reddit user gigaface, who encountered the fauxhemian hunter in New York City. Before you object to the choices of bait, remember that having any opinion at all about hipsters or their taste preferences automatically renders you a hipster. (The trap itself, according to gigaface, is made of cardboard.)

"Fauxhemian"...today's favorite neologism.

Actually, this looks more like a NYC "hobo" trap than anything...and trust me, NYC "hobos" are much faster off the mark than NYC "bohos.".

What would a hobo do w/a bike chain or pink sunglasses?

Disguise themselves with the sunglasses and beat other hobos with the bike chain so they can steal their stuff.

Are you kidding? "Hobos" live for pink sunglasses or other festive, wearable trash to put some zazzle in their panhandling.

The chain is for whippin' butt on the competition.
