Someone school me on apps

I've seen a few posts about the TB app not working. AFAIK I don't have any apps on my phone. I just open the browser, type in talkbass, and poof. Here I am. I heard about an ebay app too, which I also don't have, but I got no problem using ebay either, I've bid on stuff and paid with paypal with no problems. Am I missing something here?

I'm using a Samsung Android phone thru straight talk.

Should be fine if you're using the website on the built-in browser. If it looks the same as on the computer you are. There's a specific app available that makes it more streamlined on a small touch-based phone. If you don't use it, you're golden. Nothing to worry about.
