I guess violence portrayed in movies through actions instead of words is socially more acceptable these days. Not to mention walmart is a family store, what kind of family is going to want to listen to Korn?

+1.

I would assume that the OP doesn't live within reasonable driving time of a mall, or a best buy / circuit city.

Yup its proximity problems. My choices within 20 miles are Pamida, Alco and Wal-Mart. If I want the music I really like I have to go to Omaha or Lincoln which are about 80miles away. Its also just one of those *** questions. ya know?

Haha. I thought the exact same thing when I saw it in the rental store.

They didn't do that on purpose right?

It's because Lyrical content has had much more media attention than Film content with the whole PMRC crap in the 80's. You can still get old midwesterners in an uproar about that "devil music" but horror films do not have the same stigma. WalMart is trying to portray the "wholesome, caring and patriotic" image cuz it sells more product. If more folks wanted Korn in the store than didn't they would have it.

Right becuase hacked body parts and torture porn is OK as long as you dont say the F word when your doin it.

Not to sidetrack things, but whats with the anti korn thing? Freak on a Leash was ground breaking. Jonathan Davis is one of the most creative vocalists Ive heard. Granted its not for everybody, but good gravy.

LOL about midwesterners. I live in southeast nebraska.
