it was actually one of only three or four that i recognized on the list, the others being boom boom pow and poker face , and those do not go in my genre of choice, lol.

Michael Franti is decent, but that particular song sucks. |

And that's counting Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" which is the greatest to sing at the top of my lungs when I want to annoy my girlfriend.
I'd probably pick one of the two Kings of Leon songs in the list. I'm not a huge fan but I dig them. |

I don't think a real bass player even makes an appearance on alot of the stuff on the first page (I did not go any further). Maybe you need to post this question on a DJ forum...

Some come close, but popular music often disappoints me these days, despite my honest attempts to give most of it a fair listen. Uprising (MUSE...go figure, even though that's far from their best work), Halo, and Lucky were listenable on the next 25. I should note that I like Jason Mraz. I'm Yours and Smile were decent. Clocks was the only one I could listen all the way through to on the last.
I count seven songs I would actually listen to out of a hundred "popular" songs. I really don't like that. |

Does every song on there that has a bass in it sound good to you? |

That said, judging by their past output,I'd have to go with the Alice in Chains song.
