Speaker Repair?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey anyone know any cheap way to fix speakers?

I have a Logitech Z5300 system and one of the speakers is a bit crackly. I heard going to a speaker store is kind of expensive.

The cone seems fine so i think its the internal speaker. also apparently Logitech doesnt sell parts/speakers so id have to buy a whole new system.

Never had to get a speaker repaired so i dont know how to go about this.

Unless I Googled the wrong thing, that's a gaming audio system, not a bass amp. You'll tear it apart if you play through it at any volume.

Why not just hit Logitech's website and send it in for them to evaluate and repair? If too expensive, dump it and find a replacement.

If it crackles now and then, it's probably a bad contact somewhere, possibly where it connects to your computer. If this fails, open the speakers and check if anything looks broken/torn/badly connected.
