As the title suggests...

do you ever get the jitters before a show?

how do you deal with it?

Not very often and once I am playing it settles.

It's a very individual thing. Supposedly John Lennon suffered from massive nerves to the point where he would be physically ill before shows. Didn't stop him achieving a certain level of cult success.
