So I was thinking about how I chuckle whenever I look through the TB classifieds - figured I'd point out what I see at the common traits of an average TB classified bass ad:
.) Seller posts ad somewhat overpriced (which will foreshadow future 'price drops')
.) Fellow tb'er comments shortly thereafter reinforcing the idea that OP is a "good guy" and sometimes that fellow tb'er played the bass, and it is "awesome" and "well worth it".
.) 15 ensuing comments about how "cool it looks!" and how "if only my wife would allow me to buy another one.

"
.) A couple bumps and a price-drop
.) A question or two bass-specific, the initial one usually about the weight
.) Someone says "I've got one like this bass: I just don't understand how this one is still up at this price!"
.) Another price drop
.) Sometimes an international buyer pokes in at this point and asks if the OP would ship to somewhere far far away, not uncommon for it to be Uzbeki-beki-beki-stan.
.) Dead silence for a few days besides "bump", "bump", "bump"
.) OP comments he/she has been playing it alot and now is "on the fence" or "debating" whether to actually sell it.
.) At this point either the thread dies, the person sells it, or they "come to my senses" and keep it, only to relist it a month or two later.
