Star Wars or Star Trek...You make the Call

Ok, remember the show on the history channel - "Deadliet Warrior"?

Taking that concept, who would win: Star Wars or Star Trek?

I personally think Vader would hand Kirk and all his crew their backsides.

Your thoughts???

STAR WARS!

unfortunately, the trekkie geek crew of TB will be arriving shortly to rationally explain in extreme geeky detail exactly why Star Trek would proceed to disembowel the Star Wars universe if they ever declared war on each other. I personally don't buy their arguments for a second, but the collective geek aura they generate when coalescing in one thread together usually forces the star wars fans out (if only to maintain their sanity), and the trekkies then win by default.

Star Wars for sure. I'm pretty sure the force can take control of any technology that Star Trek has.

This is the first one I could find at a glance. There's other mashups out there that end much more creatively.

Oh, and Star Wars all the way. I don't do the trek. Any fan out there should watch the movie "Fanboys" btw.

I like Star Trek better, but Star Wars would have a much better shot.

Heck, the size difference alone tips the favor towards Star Wars.

I like both but I have to say in the action category that Star Wars would win. Now if you put the Klingons up against Darth Vader that could be fun.

star trek is a lot more realistic, and makes at least an attempt to be scientifically plausible.

starwars doesn't concern itself with anything like believability or factual plausability (or even fundamental science and math heh) in any element of its story structure. which is cool too .

i like them both equally well, although i think i favor star trek, despite that i've played a starwars mmo for the past 6.5 years.

it also depends on what era of star trek you're talking about, if you mean in an "all out war". the temporal cold-war era trek could invalidate anything starwars could throw against it, since the time travel element opens up a whole new one-sided ballgame.

The Borg would be immune to the mind tricks so Vader would be dead meat.

But I think sheer numbers would overwhelm him. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think we ever did get a real idea of how many Borg there are and how many ships there are. If one ship can take out most of Starfleet, then imagine what a hundred could do.
