Disclaimer...this may or may not be related to another thread in OT that I started...

Hypothetically speaking...suppose you have a FWB (friend with benefits) and the two of you have a pretty good thing going. But after being FWB for a while, the two of you realize that you're only seeing each other and there are no other FWB in either of your lives. So you upgrade your FWB to girlfriend status (or boyfriend status for the ladies reading this). But then after some time, you realize that might have been a horrible mistake. But you don't want to lose the benefits. Can you downgrade from a previous upgrade?
I mean...there's a trial period, right?

I would say it depends on how strongly the other person feels about you. If they want to be more than a FWB then you're stuck.

*sigh*...yeah...that's what I'm afraid of. The physical part is terribly satisfying. The rest...not so much.

Sounds like your stuck dude, maybe look for something more than just the physical, if you didnt want anything else, you kinda shot yourself in the foot
