In essence, he was saying if *I* was QBing they would have won a super bowl sooner because the talent was the best the team had ever had and there was no reason they shouldn't, unless the QB not being ready was at fault.
Brett can't stay out of the lime light. The fact of the matter is Aaron has already made the NFL forget about Brett Fahh , Ffffreeahvrah ... and he can't seem to let the Aaron love fest go without saying "something". |

| | Online | | Join Date: Apr 2001 Location: Sunapee, New Hampshire | | This is the article I read: Brett Favre asks why Aaron Rodgers' Super Bowl title ring with Green Bay Packers took so long - ESPN. Even now, it is changed up a little bit from the first way it was posted. Perhaps it generates more readers to spin it so it looks like Favre is taking a shot at Rodgers, which is a bummer. I just don't read into it that way at all. Favre spends plenty of time complimenting Rodgers and the team around him, so it feels to me like he can't believe they didn't win sooner, not that he would have won sooner on the same team.
But hey, I like Favre and how he played QB, so when I read about him or interviews with him, I have no agenda or motive to think poorly of him. Honestly, I don't know how this is him being an attention whore. I know he does play by play now, which is a natural progression for many former NFL QB's, nothing attention whoring about that.

| | | | The best thing we can do is just ignore the guy. He's the biggest drama queen I've ever seen in my entire life. I wish I had a dollar for everytime he retired and changed his mind. That ad on Sears where he spends hours thinking about buying the TV, buys it and changes his mind, yeah it's funny but the guy really is like that apparently.
Brett you gave us a lot of thrills but you know maybe just once in your life, it's time to shut the hell up and show some class and move on with your life, you know? And to be totally honest, I think the new guy is BETTER than you ever were, as great as you were. And he doesn't feel any need to take cheap shots at you, which is more than we can say for you Brett. I'll just say this, after watching Brett throw critical, boneheaded pick in big game after big game, and watching the new guy, if I had the rent money on the line, I'd be going with the new guy. Really, nuff said. |
