Are they becoming the next Raiders / Bengals / Cowboys? I was soo disappointed when I saw that on the NFL Network yesterday. They've got Ben (and y'all know my opinion there), and now they are entertaining arguably one of the dirtiest players in the league right now.
I'd lie if I said I wasn't disappointed.

As much as I hate the Steelers, they've always been a class organization.
(ya lose to the Raiders one time, and it all goes to hell )
Oakland!

I imagine they're taking O-Linemen however they can get them at this point. |

Repeat about 20 times this season.
Now, the dude can still play a little. But he will kill a few drives for you.

But he will kill a few drives for you. | He'll also be good for 3-4 tripping penalties, and various holding ones as well...plus at least ONE unsportsmanlike penalty for running up to an opposing team's DT/DE at the beginning of halftime and blindsiding him while he's heading to the locker room.

Any of you that have been here for any length of time know I hate scumbags (criminals, dirty people, even "accidental" crimes.... which I don't buy!!! etc.). Flozell falls into the dirty category. The primary reason I am a Steelers and Jazz fan is because of their ethical stance against sludge, and their dedication to their players and the organization. Pittsburgh is slowly losing that ($$$ talks, apparently), and I hate it.

-Mike | If I recall correctly, they (The NFL Network) got that directly from Mike Tomlin. I believe he said that he would have seriously considered bringing Vick in, but that he didn't want to plant any negative seeds in Roethlisberger's brain. So if that was the case, it sounds like Tomlin isn't quite as entrenched in the "only character guys" philosophy. But hopefully, the Rooney's would have nixed the Vick talk.
