STORY: http://www.comcast.net/sports/articl...eelers-Arrest/
The quick and dirty: WR Cedrick Wilson gets canned, after getting arrested for punching his girlfriend in a restaurant. Tons of witnesses.
Here's my calling-out for the Steelers' HUGE hypocrisy.
Linebacker James Harrison is currently facing a preliminary court hearing on April 3rd, facing the same charges after getting arrested last month, except he WAS NOT canned by the Steelers.
Why?
Oh, that's right, Harrison's a Pro-Bowler, Wilson isn't, so Harrison gets preferential treatment. Yup. Mmm hmm. It's totally fair, yup, suuuure.
FIRE BOTH THEIR WORTHLESS ASSES. You strike a woman, you are no longer a man. You are nothing more than a spoiled childm a dirty little beeeotch, and are worthless.
Unless you're a Pro-Bowler, then you're exempt. |

Hitting a woman is wrong regardless, but there's a big difference between punching and slapping, and you could say that Harrison is getting due process as the court goes through the allegations. If he's found guilty, they should release him.

What other teams would do that?? Let me think... NONE. Yet another reason I am a die-hard Steelers fan. Let's look at Cincinnati, where they are a clinic in illegalities recently, or Dallas from the 90's... Another clinic.
Regarding Harrison, it seems to be a he-said/she-said thing at this point. You want the Steelers to can Harrison on an allegation without due process? C'mon dude!

Nothing, she's been told twice already.
Haha Go Giants!

Oh.
Oh damn.
There's Coke all over my keyboard now.
And I suppose if there were no immediate witnesses to Harrison's alleged assault, then fine, due process will prevail. But Wilson apparently had a table full of people and restaurant staff who saw him tap her on the shoulder, and full-out fist her in the face, with severe swelling and bruising as the result. |

I don't think that his PB status will mean anything if his behavior isn't in line with the Steelers code of conduct. I know I'd be very disappointed if they showed a double standard for Harrison .....
But you gotta at least wait for an actual legal process, not just bounce him because of an allegation ... |

I would be hard pressed to say the Steelers give preferential treatment to ProBowl players. Remember Bam Morris?
