CBS Evening News along with a few online sources cite that Jobs resigned today via an open letter on the Apple store.

I hate seeing a founder back away from the helm by force, health or choice. He's an icon and brought Apple back from their dark ages. He is Apple.
Through my work and dealing with him directly, I can personally say that he is so passionate and very much cares about every small facet of his company, something many ceo's cannot claim. What others may delegate or consider beneath them, he handles. For that I have a lot of respect. |
