The creepy thing is my friend and I were just talking a few minutes ago about the iPhone event yesterday, and how we were surprised he didn't make an appearance. This is truly tragic. RIP to one of the most inspirational innovators in the history of technology. Nothing short of a visionary, you will be sorely missed! |

He (and, of course, his team at Apple) revolutionised the consumer technology industry, not to mention the music and media industries.
He will be greatly missed. I'm off to hug my Mac and my iPhone now. |

Creative genius, visionary, whatever you wish to call him, Steve was a one-of-a-kind. Being a loyal Apple customer since 1998-1999 (when I grew old enough to understand personal computers) this news hit me hard. He truly was the soul of Apple. May you finally rest in peace, Mr. Jobs.
