Strange phenomenon in 'Dago

Sign in to disble this ad
Down here in San Diego, we've been experiencing the strangest thing for the last couple days. It's like, there's thousands of little droplets of some wet substance falling out of the sky. I mean, there's so much of it, it's running down the streets. Very bizarre.

I think it may have something to do with the lunar eclipse happening while Mercury is in retrograde.

We have something similar here, but it's all brilliant white and fluffy. It's a right royal PITA.

Don't worry, it will be over soon. In the meantime, you may find that your car has rubber squeegees attached to motorized arms to clear the moisture form your wind shield. Using them makes driving safer during those extreme weather events. Also, both your house and car may be equipped with "heaters", which will make you more comfortable if the outside temperature should fall below 60 degrees.

You need to move to San Diego fast - your dream about a land where it rains beer has just come true.

I was gonna post a similar thread about Long Beach and OC. It's the weirdest thing. Rain, you say? Is that what you call it? But there was a song that said it never rains in Southern California..... ::

Dunno about that, but there was a song about a desert rose dreaming of rain.

Time for you California boys to buy some bumbershoots. That storm came through here a few weeks ago and did the same thing. Hang tight, it will be gone soon.

I'm pretty sure I saw animals lining up two-by-two outside. It's like their waiting for a boat, or something.

Excellent advice. I'd been wondering. Experiencing similar here (a few hours up the coast from SD). Rain, apparently. I had to look it up.

It's still shorts weather for us Michiganders. I think I'm going to have to break out the jeans soon, however.

Even though I moved away from San Diego years ago I'm still awestruck every time I see water actually falling out of the sky.

That happened in Nashville in May. Such an odd phenomena.

Y'all are reminding me of the 'West Texan's Prayer'. It goes something like: "Lord, please send us some rain. It's not so much for me or my wife. We've seen it before. But for our boy. He's only seven."
