Strangest movie ever made?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just watched Frank Zappa's movie '200 Motels'. All I can say is that Mr. Zappa and his cast (including Ringo and Keith Moon) must have gotten hold of the brown acid from Woodstock. It is 2 hours of some very strange stuff and a real struggle to sit through (unless you have some of that brown acid yourself).

I don't know if it's the strangest, but the concept certainly qualifies as being one of the strangest.
"Terror of TinyTown", A Western with a cast made up entirely of little people.

Yeah- from the wiki description, it easily eclipses Eraserhead's weirdness.

200 Motels was great, and Frank didn't do drugs unless you count cigarettes and coffee as drugs.

Watch "The Amazing Mr. Bickford", if you want more disturbed clay-mation stuff.

"Plan 9 From Outer Space". Much weirder than Plan 8.

"Santa Sangre" is up there...

And "Old Boy" is great. But not the strangest movie ever made... just a damn fine movie:

Eraserhead is a good one.

Has anybody ever seen "The Forbidden Zone"? It was made by Danny Elfman. It's pretty effing ridiculous.
