Stress Release

Sign in to disble this ad
What do you do to release stress? I work out and play video games. Sometimes I play music too but sometimes when I'm stressed, if I'm not happy with the music, I get more stressed. And then I go work out. Hopefully we can help each other out and find some good stress release so we can all be happier, better people.

kicking puppies always makes me feel better.

but seriously, for me, the best stress relief is something you've already mentioned and that is playing music .. i find that the more stressful the week was, the better the gig will be as i will be playing with such passion and fury that i'm spent at the end of it .. just like really good sex, which, by the way, is another great stress relief and i highly recommend it

in all seriousness i typically play bass. its why i play, i dont gig anymore i just plug in and go to my happy place. i have a pretty high stress job though so about every month or so me and Mr.Target, Mr.Glock and about 250 of their closest friends go out and hit a range. i know guns are associated with violence but i gotta tell you for fat guy who cant even imagine what Yoga feels like , shredding a target is as close as i can come to a Zen moment

I wouldn't know what to tell you. I can count on one hand how many times I have been stressed in my life. I try to avoid stress by understanding/analyzing a situation and what the possible outcomes and how to react to them. Do so has prevent a lot of stress in my life.

Ride a bike up & down a big-ace hill. If I do it right, I'll chase (& catch)another, ideally younger, rider, come very close to crashing hard enough to seriously injure myself and beat my best time over a given course. I need to do this two or three times a week to stay sane.

I need to get re-charged more so than relieving stress. To do that, I ride my motorcycle, go bass fishing or take a drive somewhere. Doing something with the family works for me also as long as my teenagers behave

I'll talk about whats stressin me with my woman, then have sex.

Or I'll play my bass, then have sex.

Drink some beers or light some herb, and have sex.

I think youre gettin it.
