I think some golf can be quite exciting - especially the Ryder cup when Europe win!!

'he institute has now received funding for further studies including comparisons between tambourine players and darts champions and a study into the drug tolerance of lead singers compared to that of tour de France cyclists. ‘I can’t wait’, said Dr Craigowen, although he later admitted he was looking for another job."

I lol'd... Alot..

Actually the Tour de France went through our town a few years ago and there were huge crowds but it was completely dull as a spectator event - they just zoomed past, nothing really happened - give me the Ryder cup any time!!

Then who would be the Tiger Woods of bass playing?

I'd be one of the Canadian golfers who struggles to even qualify for tourneys.

My son checked out the following book from the library last week:

http://www.amazon.com/Penguin-Quarte.../dp/1575052520

The penguins get their first gig because a band canceled. The pianist had cut his hand, the guitarist was lost in traffic, and to quote the book "the bassist is, well. boring".

Every night we read that book he laughed at me for what seemed like hours.

Laughs. No. Golf is a fun game to spend a day with, but on excitement level, I'd say it's around curling and darts
