stupid best buy rewards cards...

Sign in to disble this ad
I've had a rewards acct setup for like 3 years, but never got a card.

i would give them my phone # and they would pull up my account and apply my purchase too it.

i must have spent $10,000+ in best buy over that time..

i go online and get access to my account and only have 201 points. You need 250 to get a $5 card!

i find out points expire.

what a crock!

Seriously. Reward points are rarely worth it.

Yeah, that thing is garbage. I had one a few years ago, and I must have spent like 5000 bucks or so in the time frame I had it. I got like $10 in reward points...

I didn't even know they expired. I thought they just weren't tallying my points properly.

Buy online. You still save even more money than those rewards cards give back.

Complete scam. (I used to work there).

I got one too. The person at the checkout counter gave me one and said it came with 10 free points, or maybe I got 10 points for the purchase. Anyway, I was under the impression I have 10 points on my card.

Spent a little over a $100.00 there the other day.

Checked my account just now. 9 Points.
So, yeah. They do expire. I got the card a couple of month ago.

Anyone look to see how much you have to spend to get one point?

Meh, whatever. I went there to get rid of a $50.00 gift card. It was difficult to get rid of it too. Every time I wanted to spend it I found what I was looking for online much cheaper.

Stupid reward card! My wallet is littered with them.

I've literally made hundreds back from the Rewards Zone. I save my big purchases for when I have one of the "triple your rewards zone points" coupons, and I don't let them expire. They work great for me.

I use my credit card to buy most things and pay it off at the end of the month. I didn't even know I got points. After 4 years they never expired adn I got a $200 check from them!(2 $100 checks really) with no strings attached. It was sweet.

I signed up for mine when I bought my laptop there. Got points which more than paid for the membership (back when it was a paid deal... like $10 a year) and got like $45 in coupons right away.

Yeah, they expire, but I'm an impulse buyer anyway. If I'm driving by, I'll stop in and get some use out of that coupon. Usually like a DVD out of the $5 bin.
