so these subway restaurants opened in my city ages back but some how i never checked them out ever really but my girlfriend keeps insisting that we go there. she likes those damn subs but nothing there tastes good to me. i have been there thrice now i cant get my sub to taste any good.

am confused every time that chap asks me what bread do i want and then what do i want inside i have no frickkin clue seriously so this time i just went for the sub-of-the-day thing and meh same deal. so anyway if any of you guys dig subway then could you recommend me a sub i should check next time?

Meatballs with sauce, bacon, pepperoni, and your choice or cheese. AMAZING.

There's only one thing I ever eat at Subway: Meatball Marinara with provolone on Hearty Italian.

Anything else, I go to a real sub shop.

You're not alone. Nothing from Subway tastes good to me either. It's all rather bland and yucky.

As for comment two.....I don't get this concept either. What's the point in ordering a sub off the menu when they just turn around and walk you step by step through making it anyway? I might as well stay home and make it myself.

I get my subs/hoagies from a small joint here where I live run by a guy from Pennsylvania. I order an Italian, and then he makes it. No questions, no choices, no nothing. I order and five minutes later I walk out with a sub that tastes awesome every time. He never has to stop and ask me what I want on it.

Hm, I really have to say I never enjoyed subway, and as far as subs go Togos for a chain I enjoy much more, but there are some places here that are much better. However the new one by my house has some hope. I usually ask for I think it's italian herb and parmesan for bread, at least I think that's the name. Usually the Italian with chedder or swiss with olives, onions, green pepper, lettuce and chipotle mayo.

Though it is different than the American one, I love the Italian BMT. It is delicious, I like to get the basic meats on it, with deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce.

That is just my preference though, but I recommend checking it out!

I agree with you. They also don't put much meat on their subs either. IMO they're a rip off. The Mom and pop deli's make the best subs around.

Subway is horrible. If you've an option go to an independent sandwich making establishment and enjoy their fare. In all honesty I'd rather eat a McDonalds than a Subway.

Out of the menu presented on the Subway India site-the Chicken Meatball sounds good.

When I go to one here in Chicago, I get either: Pizziola [Chicken Pizza Sub], Feast [variety of meats], or Subway Club. I think of Subway like the Domino's of the sub world. Decent sub, at a decent price, consistently...not the best by any stretch, but not horrible.

The only time I eat at Subway is when I don't have time to go home before a gig. There's at least 3 of them within 3 blocks of my job, so it's a convenience thing.

all the best.
