Suggestions for an Anniversary Gift?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm within 24 hours of my anniversary and I got nothing in terms of an idea for a gift.

So, my low life brothers and sisters, what ya got in the way of suggestions for a gift?

No, she doesn't want a Sadowsky or any other gear.

She is a VP in IT for a global company but doesn't travel that much anymore.

Get her a gift card for a 'day of beauty' at a local salon. You know, facial, manicure, pedicure etc. Next, diamond earrings, flowers and a gift card from Starbucks. You can do all that before noon and be home to surprise her.

EDIT: If she works you MUST have flowers sent to her work place so all the others there can see what a wonderful husband she has.

My 25th anniversary was two weeks ago.

I sent my wife a live plant with added flowers in an attractive planter for her office - it arrived about 10 AM.

When she got home, there was a gorgeous dozen rose arrangement and card on the table...I met the flower delivery guy at noon to set it up.

We went out to dinner - where I presented her with a paid of earrings with small diamond chips (JC Penney had a 1/2 price sale and they cost me about $150).

If your wife likes pearls, go for pearl earrings rather than diamonds.

It made a GREAT evening for us!

According to the all knowing Wikipedia, a gift for a 15th wedding anniversary should be a watch.

find the "official" anniversary gift for the anniversary. for 15 year it's traditionally crystal, so there's something.

For our 15th, we went out to dinner and I gave her flowers. It depends on the person - gifts aren't everything; attention matters.

A night out at a nice restaurant and a show, include a hotel for the night if possible. Surprise her with appropriate jewelry while at dinner.

If she's not into anything like that, something she likes that will make her feel like you put at least a little thought into it. The "thinking of her" part is at least as important as the gift itself.
