I enjoyed a few of them, the VW Darth Vader ad being one of them. The Doritos house sitting spot was awesome too.

VW "Darth Vader" was awesome. Advertising brilliance.

I also enjoyed Bridgestone "Reply All". That kind of panic is all too familiar.

The Doritos "Finger Sucker/Pants Licker" was funny in a disturbing way.

I loved the Kia "Epic Journey" commercial!

My favorite was definitely the Darth Vader one as well. Also thought the Chrysler / Eminem one was very well done as well.

I liked the "remodel with Bud Light" commercial.

IMO Bud Light could have been drained from a sick horse, but their commercials are great.

+1 to the darth vader one
I liked the one with Ozzy in it where he says "What's a beiber???"
And the bud light one where the guy was house-sitting and the dogs were trained and he threw the party, that one was good.

Needless to say the talk of the town here has been the Eminem Chrysler 200 Commercial.
I thought it was pretty good, and the tag line "imported from Detroit" was a winner.

I enjoyed the tagline, not the rest of the commercial.

I dunno. I saw this one, and I thought it was pretty boring and mostly lame. After which, I said "Really, that's the best you could do?"

The one where the guy brings his friends grandpa back from the dead with doritos.

That was funny.

I liked the mini-Darth Vader one.

A lot of the other ones I just plain didn't get. Maybe I've outgrown the target demographic or something but a lot of them just looked like so much CGI masturbation to me.

I sort of get what they were trying to do with the Chrysler Detroit ad but I despise Eminem so it's unnerving to see he's back in play. And that particular ad was way too damn long.

Is it me or have the last few year's commercials been mostly lame with the odd exception? I am sure everyone's ad budget has suffered, but I'd hoped that would result in more creativity. It seems that advertisers rely on big budgets to bring home memorable Super Bowl commercials...

The Darth VW one was cute. But when compared to a dearth of good commercials, it's not hard to stand out, is it?

3 Million dollars for a 30 second spot. I know I would have tried to get the best team out there for a commercial spot.

Well, I agree with half of that. It was definitely disturbing, but I found no humor in it. Yuck...

Commercials suck. Period. The fact that so many people watch the superbowl 'just for the commercials' is a ridiculous concept for me to grasp. So many people just willingly submit themselves to corporate marketing just to have something to talk about come Monday. Pathetic.
