I also enjoyed Bridgestone "Reply All". That kind of panic is all too familiar.
The Doritos "Finger Sucker/Pants Licker" was funny in a disturbing way. |

IMO Bud Light could have been drained from a sick horse, but their commercials are great.

I liked the one with Ozzy in it where he says "What's a beiber???"
And the bud light one where the guy was house-sitting and the dogs were trained and he threw the party, that one was good. |

I thought it was pretty good, and the tag line "imported from Detroit" was a winner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APS9tso1G9k

That was funny.

A lot of the other ones I just plain didn't get. Maybe I've outgrown the target demographic or something but a lot of them just looked like so much CGI masturbation to me.
I sort of get what they were trying to do with the Chrysler Detroit ad but I despise Eminem so it's unnerving to see he's back in play. And that particular ad was way too damn long. |

I am sure everyone's ad budget has suffered, but I'd hoped that would result in more creativity. It seems that advertisers rely on big budgets to bring home memorable Super Bowl commercials...
The Darth VW one was cute. But when compared to a dearth of good commercials, it's not hard to stand out, is it?

The fact that so many people watch the superbowl 'just for the commercials' is a ridiculous concept for me to grasp. So many people just willingly submit themselves to corporate marketing just to have something to talk about come Monday. Pathetic.
