Surgery for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,

I'm looking at some EMG and nerve conduction tests next week (which I've had before) due to possible cubital &/or carpal tunnel (likely the former, not so likely the latter, they think) syndrome.

I was just curious, in case it comes to this, for those of you who have had surgery, what was the recovery period like? Were you able to function (and PLAY your bass) normally, aside from maybe some physical adjustments? Or is there like a strict NO playing policy for several weeks?

I just started playing with a new band and I'm fearing that I may not be able to continue the project if it comes to this. Thanks, Jeramaya
