Hey guys!
How are you all?
Just wanted to ask a question about .swf (shockwave) files.
I know that these kind of files are used as an saved extension to Adobe Flash Player in a "movie" kind of format. I also knew that this kind of files were used in, for instance, making interactive menus for DVDs and such.
Now, the thing is I have to make these CD cards or mini CDs with marketing purposes which have to have a .swf file to be played in a computer with an interactive sequence portraying a series of issues the company I work in deals with. The thing is that if I wanted those .swf files to work on a regular DVD player do I leave them as .swf format? Do I transform them to .avi or other video format? And if i do, does it lose any interactivity? or does the remain fully interactive like the .swf file?
In which format are those DVD menus used? How do they remain interactive if they're in video format?
Sorry to bother you guys with this.
Hope anyone can help, cause if I screw this, they're gonna fire my a$$
Thanks
