This was already brought up once, and closed pretty quickly.
I personally do not like those ads. Objectifying women for the lose.

I agree. I find them somewhat offensive. I also found the underwear ads that were kicking around last week extremely offensive, especially for a website that bills itself as family friendly.

you guys know that these are ads by google...that means it uses information based on your browsing history, and what google thinks you want to see.

generalized explanation, but that's essentially it.

Awesome thing is, this computer I'm on right now only servers two www functions; talkbass.com and facebook.com. All other web browsing I do is done on a sandbox VM.

Sandbox VM is the best way to surf... each time you start the VM, it's a clean slate. None of the normal... leftovers.

this came up and was closed about 3 days ago. sh'es smokin. i love the one with her with the shirt on and only underwear below.

As far as how the ads work, the ads don't generally have anything to do with your browsing history, but what's on the page - a thread about the circuit breaker in an amp had circuit breaker ads at the top, i've never looked into circuit breakers. My guess is it caught the words that make tshirt pop up. Usually i get either snorgtees or "richmond cuisine". I do work in a restaurant, i dunno?
