"Tailgate Tested" Bud Lite Ads - Tasteless, no?

Does anyone else think it's really tasteless those Bud Light ads they're running with the loudmouth pitchman that's clearly a take-off on Billy Mays? I mean right down to the blue shirt and khaki's get-up. Good grief let Billy's corpse cool down at least.

Of course considering that the product being sold also has no taste, I guess it is strangely appropriate.

The last truly funny, creative beer ads were those Miller High Life ones a few years back with the gravelly voiced announcer.

I hadn't thought of the Billy Mayes connection, but those commercials annoy the heck out of me, some of the dumbest ones to have been on TV.

I too thought immediately of Billy Mays. As a fan of BM, I think it's kind of a cool way to honor him, I just wish "Jimmy Football" wasn't so effing annoying of a character.

That, coupled with your taste in both college and pro football teams, just goes to show that even really nice guys have no taste in beer or good football, no matter how much they try to say otherwise.



(Oh, and the commercials aren't tasteless, the beer, however, is. The commercials are STUPID. )
