Taking a month away from forums.

As per the title, I am going to spend the month of November without visiting any online forums.

It has become evident that my forum usage has been getting out of hand, to the detriment of other things I want to get done. (That may be surprising, given the quantity & quality of my posts here, but it's true.

)

Hopefully after the month is up, I can get my marbles together enough to participate again. Talkbass in particular is a great forum IMHO and I've learned a lot here.

So at least for this month I bid adieu to my fellow TBers and wish you all the very best in GAS & gigs!

If you weren't doing this for the drama, you just would've left for a month without saying anything. I guarantee you no one would have noticed. But you knew that, didn't you?

When your grades come back up, your parents will let you visit TalkBass again.

My parents threatened to make me stay inside if I got bad grades when I was in school. The thought of having to stay inside was so undesirable, I made sure I got good grades. My how times have changed.
