Obviously.
If people didn't start smoking, we wouldn't have people quitting.

This New Year's Resolution was for me to quit smoking.

I did great until about 10 am this morning.

I miss smoking. I'd start up again if I wasn't afraid it would kill me. Plus, I'm a cheap SOB, and cigs are like 8-9 bucks a pack.

For the life of me I can't imagine why anybody would take up smoking these days. It's a nasty, smelly, expensive habit that comes with health risk. Just about every person I've known to smoke has wanted to quit.

Just doesn't make sense to me.

be prepared for alot of 13 year olds who think they are hardcore cool in this club.

"You know, I think it's about time to take my coolness up a notch and pick up smoking!! "

Not a chance for me. Too much damage that I see it doing to my health/body, especially with me in sports. That and it's gotta be extremely expensive.

I have better things to do, like exfoliating my face with a porcupine.

I took up cigars about 2-3 years ago, but I smoke 4 times a year at most and it`s only for special occasions.

O wow another thread with anti smoker sentiment, big suprise.

I smoke 1 pack a week, and I have no plans on quitting.

Much cheaper if you roll your own, that's what I used to do before I finally quit. Slow-mo suicide on a budget.

Once a smoker, always a smoker. I know if I smoke one cigarette, just one, I would relapse, as I did. Smoke for 5 years, then a year and a half more while in the military (where, as those who served know, you are bored out of your mind most of the time).

I am considering smoking cigar once in a while, but only when Fidel dies and we have good relations with Cuba, because I am not smoking anything but a Cuban cigar.

I smoke because I work in the government.

Sometimes things/people are so slow I have to smoke a stick to stop myself from choking them.

Its an enjoyable sensation, for some reason non-smokers think that the only thing cigarettes do is give you cancer and make you smell.

When you smoke you get a sensation of calmness that reduces stress. While at the same time the nicotine functions as an upper allowing you to hyperfocus on a task at hand. In general its an all around pleasurable experience. But just like any substance you can become "a slave to the sensation" where you have to do the substance to just feel normal. Thats where you get the 2 pack a day smokers.
